2515430 - Display of Formatted Postal Address Differs Based on Countries

The Postal Address displayed in the formatted address field is an abridged (limited to three lines) version of the address that is printed on forms.

1. Go to Customer WorkCenter
2. Then to Account View 
3. Open account ABC (where ABC is the name of account)
4. Edit and hover on address section on Overview facet of account TI
5. Display of address data , say, state value is different for different country codes

Just like the formatting of the printform address used country specific routines that determine which address attributes are displayed, and in which position, so does the formatted postal address on the TI.
Say for Canada and the United states it is customary to include the code for the state in the address between city name and postal code,in Turkey it is not. Hence the formatted postal address also differs for these countries.

Additionally, having only three lines as compared to the 8 to 10 lines available on a letter in case of an overabundance of filled address attributes some will have to be omitted on the Account TI due to spatial limitations.

 

This is the expected system behavior.
