Symptom

Purge Inactive Job Applications is failing

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Admin Center>Purge Request Monitor
  2. Click on Purge Progress & Results
  3. See that "Purge Inactive Job Application" job has failed

Cause

There could be a few possible causes:

  1. The user who requested the job is inactive
  2. Server error due to too many records in one job

Resolution

  1. Ensure the user requesting the job is an active user
  2. Submit a new request with less records
