2516660 - Validating the database with the "-v cascfast" option fails with ORA-29823 error

Symptom

The database is validated with the analyze command using BR*Tools according to note 23345. If the "-v cascfast" option of brconnect is used for that, the call fails and several errors are displayed in the logfile, for example:

BR0301E SQL error -29823 in thread 3 at location stats_tab_validate-2, SQL statement:
'ANALYZE CLUSTER "SYS"."SMON_SCN_TO_TIME_AUX" VALIDATE STRUCTURE CASCADE FAST'
ORA-29823: object being analyzed is not a table
BR0893E Validating structure failed for table/cluster SYS.SMON_SCN_TO_TIME_AUX

Environment

oracle, BR*Tools 740 with patch level less then 31
