2517293 - Error message F5165 or dump ASSERTION_FAILED occurs during integrated posting to an asset - SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • Error message F5165 "Create company code & or change your entry" is issued when posting a transaction to asset through an integrated transaction (e.g., FB01).
  • In some cases, the system terminates with short dump ASSERTION_FAILED during the integrated posting to the asset.
