Symptom

  • The following error is thrown when process messages through the File/SOAP/REST/B2B receiver communication channels.
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: Failed to get the input stream from socket: iaik.security.ssl.SSLCertificateException: Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier
  • You refer to SAP Note 1514898 to collect an XPI Inspector trace using Example 50 (XI Message) for the communication channel which throws this error.
  • You refer to SAP KBA 2230007 but it still doesn't resolve this issue.
