Symptom

The below warnings appear in the system log (transaction code SM21) when you run the consolidation tasks:

  • X MESSAGE BRAIN 299: LCL_IS_EMPTY_HANDLER_TRANSFORM CL_RSR_FIPT_VAL2SID->LOOKUP-01-
  • X MESSAGE BRAIN 299: CL_RSR_OLAP_AREA SAVE-01-

In the BPC web, the following errors may be displayed:

Cache in database cannot be used
Business Rule CONSOLIDATION ended with errors
Cache in database cannot be used
Incorrect identification of characteristic CL_RSR_BASE===================CP in PartProvider
Query !!AR_AG (instance ID 123456789) has been closed
Data area DEFAULT has been closed
