Symptom
Before there was no “Position Number” column on the Job Requisition List page, so that the users could not easily find this information
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Resolution
Users can now choose to display the “Position Number” (also known as “Position ID”) information on the Job Requisition List page. This column is hidden by default, so users will need to opt-in to display it.
Note:
- The column is independent from Position Management, meaning Position Management is not a prerequisite
- It is an existing field (positionNumber) that is exposed on the Job Requisition summary page meaning we are not Introducing a new Position Field into the functionality that is originating from the GO Position object.
The new column “Position Number is available in "Display Options" as a selectable standard column, by default the column is hidden and can be added to the view.
The New Column will appear next to the "Req Id" column and can be used to filter the Job Requisitions.
The Position system field label is delivered as “Position Number” by default. It is possible to change the label (e.g. to Position ID).
Label can be changed via: Provisioning. (If you do not have access to provisioning your implementation partner can make the change for you)
- Job Requisition System Field Labels
- positionNumber
If the label is changed there also the label of the column on the Job Requisition List page will change.
