2518359 - Position Number column on Job Requisition List page - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Before there was no "Position Number" column on the Job Requisition List page, so that the users could not easily find this information.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Resolution

Users can now choose to display the "Position Number" (also known as "Position ID") information on the Job Requisition List page. This column is hidden by default, so users will need to opt-in to display it.

Note:

  • The column is independent from Position Management, meaning Position Management is not a prerequisite.
  • It is an existing field (positionNumber) that is exposed on the Job Requisition summary page. To use the column, the field "positionNumber" must be defined in the Job Requisition template.
  • The "Position Number" (positionNumber) and the "Position" (std_position_obj) columns are two separate standard fields.

The new column "Position Number" is available in "Display Options" as a selectable standard column, by default the column is hidden and can be added to the view.

The New Column will appear next to the "Req Id" column and can be used to filter the Job Requisitions.

The Position system field label is delivered as "Position Number" by default. It is possible to change the label (e.g. to Position ID).

  1. Go to Admin Center -> Manage Job Requisition System Field Labels.
  2. Update the label for 'positionNumber'.

If the label is changed there also the label of the column on the Job Requisition List page will change.
