Are users able to upload documents when recording an internal or external completion event?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Resolution
Prerequisites:
- At Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN > updatedSupervisorFlow=true
- To trigger the approval process, is necessary that the setting(s) 'Require approval when users add to learning history' (for internal and/or external events) should be enabled, as per described at the KBA 2423138 - LMS - Enable Enforcing Approval when User Records Learning.
Steps:
- Log into HCM > navigate to the Learning homepage >
- Click on the 'Activities' dropdown menu > Add to Learning History >
- Select the type of item to which is needed to add to history (Item based event or External Event) >
- Proceed with the steps in order to finish the submission >
- After submitting the approval request, a message is shown explaining that an "Additional Action Required Before Learning May be Committed" (since at this point, getting the completion event actually recorded depends on the approver now) >
- At this screen, there is an option to add a 'File Attachment'.
