2519398 - Is it possible to have more than one approval role per approval step in an approval process? Which approval role will be displayed to the users?

Symptom

Administrators may need to set up more than one approval role for an approval step.

Reproducing the Issue

  • Refrences> System Admin> Approval process
  • create a new approval process
  • add several approval roles for one or more of the steps created

Resolution

This configuration is possible SuccessFactors LMS.

Now the user requesting an approval, will see all the users who are assigned with the respective approval roles(refer above screenshot)part of the approval process step in the user approval request screen as shown in the below screenshot.

 Customers and partners who would like to see this behaviour changed in future versions of the system are encouraged to submit an enhancement request as per the KBA 2090228.
