2520292 - Candidate Type When Hired column in Reporting is empty - Recruiting Management

Symptom

The field "Candidate Type when Hired" is not pulling any data in the reporting. It should either pull "Internal" or "External" when candidate is Hired.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Reporting > Create report using Recruiting V2
  2. Select columns including "Candidate Type when Hired" from Application table
  3. Run the report
  4. You will notice that there is a candidate in Hired Status but "Candidate Type When Hired" column is blank even though there is a candidate in Hired status:

Cause

  • "Hired" status is not configured as "Hired" in the "Hireable Options"
  • The candidates are not in the "Hired" status yet but in "Ready to Hire"

Resolution

For Cause 1:

  1. Navigate to Admin Centre> Edit Applicant Configuration Settings
  2. Select Status Set
  3. Click on Hired Status
  4. Check if "Hireable Option" is selected as "Hired" or not:

NOTE: Reporting will still not pull "Candidate Type When Hired" columns data for the candidates in Hired status before this change was made. In this scenario, you would need to move the candidate back one step prior and then moving back to “Hired” status.

For Cause 2:

Up until the candidates are in the Hired status, the column will still display as null. It will be required to wait until the candidate is moved to Hired.
