2520409 - OData request is terminated with "Invalid parametertype used"

Symptom

  • An OData request which contains $filter query option is called from a standard or a custom application and it is terminated with an error
    AND
  • The request tries to filter for a property of Edm.Boolean type
    AND
  • In the F12 console log and in transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG the following error appears:
    Invalid parametertype used at function 'eq' (Position: XX)
