2520482 - Document Generation - Create Template Copy

Symptom

Prior to 1708 Document Generation solution did not support copying of template and mapping of fields from existing template to a new template.

Copy feature is now supported.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Document Generation

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Admin Center
  2. Document Generation - Manage Document Template
  3. Select document generation template
  4. Choose the template to be copied
  5. Click Take Action
  6. Make Correction
  7. On the bottom of the Template page click Create Template Copy
  8. Fill the New Template ID, New Template Name and select the New Template Language
  9. Save

Note: Template copies should not be created via Insert New Record
