2521096 - Proxy user receive an exception error with fingerprint

• I am unable to proxy as a user, I receive an error saying "the requested operation is not available" with fingerprint: c45bd4d671b8dee5f404d29e83745227bd528f28
• Proxy user while working as proxy receive the error "you don't have permission to access this page" with fingerprint: 3284eb00c0f2ed23ede568c792fbc54413aea6aa

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Scenario 1

1. Select the Proxy Now feature
2. Enter the user you would like to proxy as;
3. You select their name and then the error appears

Scenario 2

1. Use Proxy Now and select the user
2. Once connected to to access the Home page /sf/home
3. You receive the error "you don't have permission to access this page"

This is expected as the home page access permission is not granted, this prevents the proxy from working and causes the error to appear.

To resolve the error, grant "Home Page Tab" proxy access to the effected user:

1. Admin Center > Proxy Management;
2. Select the users affected and grant the Home Page Tab;
3. Save.
