Error execution rule while applying leave

Environment

Successfactors - Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

- Navigate to Time off

- Apply leave, an error appears as 'Error Executing Rule...' Error: could not access: EmploymentDetails; Since missing instance of EmploymentDetails] . Please check rule definition.

Cause

This is due to invalid configuration in the Take rule assigned to the particular time type. The fields in job information should be accessed using the Employee Time root object (Employee Time.User...)
