2523070 - Show Simulated and Accumulated Accruals separately on Time Account Overview

• Accruals shows up under Time Account Overview section as part of the time account balance even if no accruals are posted in the time account.
• Is there a way to show simulated accruals separately on Time Workbench if initial balance posting is a manual adjustment?

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Time Off section of the employee;
2. Click on Administer Time link on the Time Off block;
3. In Time Workbench, go to Time Accounts tab;
4. Accruals shows on Time Account Overview and as part of the account balance even if manual adjustment is the only posting in the time account.
   
   

This is currently an expected and working system behavior if 'Simulated Accruals' is enabled for the Time Account Type.

If simulation is active, all account balances (posted and future) would be shown as part of the time account balance.

An enhancement is already considered by Engineering Team to change the usage behavior and display of account balances in Time Workbench if simulation is active for the Time Account Type.

This is being tracked under ECT-76819, however, there is no committed timeline on when this change would be introduced. Kindly reach out to your Customer Success Manager to track further updates on the enhancement.

To prevent confusion on the time account balance display, simulation can be temporarily disabled for the time account type by changing Simulated Accruals setting to No.
