2523113 - Increase Character Amount for external code or other fields in MDF Objects

Symptom

Customer wants to increase the external code character amount on an object

Environment

BizX Platform

Reproducing the Issue

Create MDF object>Go To Configure Object Definition
Create new
In external code field click on details>select a higher value than 128 in maximum length
Save the changes in the object, you will receive an error

Cause

This is expected behavior as the maximum character amount can only be 128, this is the maximum limit. However to overcome this we can increase the limit for the label of that external code value

Resolution

To increase the label of that external code value we need to increase the maximum amount
Go to Configure Object Definition and search for the object definition GOField

Select take action
Scroll down for the label field, click details and increase maximum amount to desired amount
For this example I increased label value from 255 4to 1000
