2523382 - Talent Search : Cannot find an employee with first name or last name

When we want to find an employee in the talent search by adding the criteria "last name" the search does not find it.

But if you enter his last name on the main search page, he will be able to find it.

Successfactors Succession Management

1. Login as Admin > Succession > Talent Search > Search. 
2. Add criteria "last name" and find the employee > Search does not fetch any result.
3. Search by Last Name and system will display the result.

• This happens if there are more than 500 users with same first name or last name.
• As per current design system can fetch only result if its within first 500 search result else it won't be fetched.

• Please check if first name or last name you are searching is the name of more than 500 users in your instance.
• If yes, then its expected behavior as talent search is designed to fetch only first 500 results.
• If users are not 500 then please log an case for further investigation.

Note: Support Engineers refere internal note for Jira where Engineering has confirmed this behavior.
