2523768 - Extension Fields for Contacts are Not Available in Migration Template

Extension fields were added to business partner contacts. However, when downloading the migration template for suppliers, the extension fields are not present on the Contacts sheet as expected.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Overview.
3. Click on the Activity List tab.
4. In Show field, select All Activities.
5. Search and open the Migration of Suppliers activity.
6. Select Migrate Suppliers using the Migration Tool.
7. Choose View All.
8. Download and open Migration Template.
9. Check the Contacts sheet.
10. No columns for the existing extension fields exist.

The extension fields for Contacts are not reflected in the template for Migration of Suppliers.

This is the expected system behavior.

To migrate Supplier Contacts that include customer extension fields, please follow these two steps:

1. Migrate Contacts: Use the "Migration of Business Partners" template, where you can include the extension fields.
2. Migrate Suppliers: After the contacts have been migrated, use the "Migration of Suppliers" template, making sure to enter the IDs of the previously created contacts in the Contacts sheet.
