2523928 - rs_create_repdef returns CREATE OBJECT permission is required - SRS

Symptom

  • Issue rs_create_repdef <ORACLE_Table> from Replication Agent for Oracle (RAO) to create replication definition (repdef)
  • Receives the following error message:

         Table/Procedure Name RepDef Name         Status                                                                 
         ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
         SHAN.ORACLE_Table     "ra$RAO12C_ora12c_SHAN_ORACLE_Table"
         Failed to create Replication Definition for <SHAN.ORACLE_Table> because
         CREATE OBJECT permission is required to execute command.
