2523969 - BI 4.2 SP3 Support pack update failed after parallel patching

Symptom

  • After updating a SAP BI Platform server from 4.1 SP5 to 4.2 SP3 in a distributed environment (parallel patching), the CMS service and Crystal Reports processing service are failing to start repeatedly on one server.
  • The same SP installation succeeded on rest of the servers without any issues.
