2524052 - How to disable HTTP HEAD requests

Symptom

The ABAP server sends the client a CSRF token needed to validate subsequent OData requests. HEAD requests are used to get the CSRF token and SAPUI5 OData models cannot function without a valid CSRF token. If the HEAD requests are blocked by a firewall, you may get an error in your browser console stating that the call to perform HEAD request has failed and subsequent OData calls may fail. For this reason, it may be desirable to change the behavior of UI5 to prevent the HEAD requests.
