• Is it expected to see the "% of total score" is displayed on the right next to every Competency or Objective?
• Can I controle the "% of total score" field visibility?

• This text is displayed in objective sections / competency sections, if the checkbox for "Include the ability to enter in a weight" is ticked within the section in Manage Templates
• If you want this checkbox to stay ticked, you have to define in the field permissions "Item Weight" as well in order to have control over visibility and edit capabilities

You can control the visiblity of that field. Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Admin Center
2. Click on Performance Management
3. Click on Manage templates
4. Open the affected PM template
5. Click on the affected objective section / competency section
6. Click on "Show advanced Options"
7. Scroll down until you see the checkbox for "Include the ability to enter in a weight"

Once you reach this screen there are 2 visibility options you can configure. Please find them detailed below.

Option 1 - you don't want to see the text "% of total score" at all

Unmark the checkbox for "Include the ability to enter in a weight"

Outcome

"% of total score" is not visible in PM form - this means that all competencies in the Performance Management form are automatically equally weighted, e.g. customer has 4 competencies in one competency section, the weight of every competency will be equal => 25%

Option 2 - you want to have to control over who can see the text "% of total score" in which route map step and who can edit the item-weight

1. Leave the checkbox for "Include the ability to enter in a weight" ticked
2. Click on "Field Permission(s) defined. Click to Modify"
3. In the pop up window you can select None / Read / Write
4. Underneath you can choose to whom you want this permission to apply and in which step
5. Click on "+Add Field" and select Item Weight
6. Repeat this steps, if you want to permission differently for Employee, Manager, HR, etc.

Outcome

"% of total score" is visible in PM form and this means users can specify the weight of each competency, e.g. customer has 4 competencies in one competency section, the first competency has a weight of 50%, the second  has a weight of 10%, the third competency has a weight of 25% and the fourth competency has a weight of 15%

1. None - you can't see the text
2. Read - You can see the text, but can't modify the item weight
3. Write - You can see the text and click on the little pen next to it, which opens a pop up window and gives you the ability to put in different weights per competency / objective

NOTE: Please rememeber that changes done to Manage Templates do not affect live forms. They will only take effect for the PM forms you launch after the changes you make.
