Example 3.

6.png

Below is the screen shot of the To Do list. ‘Employee Description 2’ is the description of the Route Map Step.

The Descirption could be misleading if the instance contains 2 'Route Maps'  that shares same 'Route Map Step Name' with a different 'Route Map Step Description'.

3.png

Note: If the description is misleading due to the configuration as per the 1st example provided above, by clicking on it,

the PM form will be opened and the name of the 'Route Map Step' will appear in the opened PM form to which it is linked.

Cause

If in the instance more than 1 'Route map' shares the same 'Route map step name' but with different 'Route map step descriptions' – the system will only recognize 1 of the descriptions in the To Do List.

Resolution

Best Practice would be not to use identical 'Route Map Step name' that have a different Route 'Map Step descriptions'.

As having unique step names and descriptions will prevent such unexpected behaviour.
