Unable to edit the effective date of a benefit enrollment.

Navigate to benefits of an employee>enroll for a benefit.

Notice that the below pop-up appears that includes the field 'when would you like your changes to take effect?' which cannot be edited:

 

This is expected behavior.

Currently it is not editable and this field can not be hidden.

For first time enrollment via the UI the benefit enrollment effective from date will be as of the date you enroll the person via the UI, i.e. if you enroll someone today via the UI, then the date will be 02 Jul 2019.

If you want to set the benefit enrollment to be a certain date, then you must do this via imports.

If you want to edit an existing enrollment effective date, please do this via manage data/benefits admin overview or via imports, but please note that it can be set to future date but not changed to past dated values - Refer KBA: 2833289
