How to default the originator in the job requisition created from position org chart.

This can be achieved by configuring the field value section 'originator.usersSysId' in the Field Mapping Rule to Create Job Requisition from Position.

Please refer to the user assistance guide Integrating Recruiting and Employee Central Position Management regarding how to manage the mapping rules.

Pre-requisites:

It is necessary to have the standard operator field "originatorName" defined in the job requisition template.

If the field does not exist, please add the field by referring to KBA 2847135 and execute a metadata refresh via OData API Metadata Refresh and Export.

Below are examples:

Use Case 1 - Originator is the one who creates the requisition via position org chart.

Using the function "Login User()".

Note: Future dated Job Requisitions created using Position Org will take the Job Executor of the "Position Job Requisition Processing" job in Provisioning as the Originator (Login User).

Use Case 2 - Originator is a fixed user.

Entering the User ID (not the username).

Use Case 3 - Originator is the manager of the position.

Using the function "Get Next Available Manager By Position()".
