Symptom

  • Below error can be seen in the transfer_ownership_SAP<SID>_tables.log while doing system copy using SWPM(Software Provisioning Manager).

    transfer ownership of table "SAP<source sid>"."OII_DIP_PARAM" to user SAP<target sid> preserve privileges
    DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
    valid Command Line Processor command.
    During SQL processing it returned:
    SQL0552N "DB2<target sid>" does not have the privilege to perform operation "TRANSFER OWNERSHIP". SQLSTATE=42502
  • From SAPinst_dev.log:
    The step transfer_ownership with Step Key
    First error is : <SQL0552N "DP2SID"does not have the Privilege to perform operation "TRANSFER >?.
