2525036 - Track Account Hierarchy Changes

Symptom

You will see that the changes made to Parent Account field in Account ABC is not getting recorded in the Changes tab of Accounts.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Customers.
  2. Open Account ABC (Where ABC has a Parent Account Mapped to a given Account XYZ1).
  3. Click on Edit.
  4. In the Account ABC header, please replace the Parent Account field value with a new Account XYZ2.
  5. Save the above changes.
  6. This change will reflect in the Account Hirearchy Tab.
  7. Go to Changes Tab and when you see, the above change is not seen or recorded.

Cause

Change history recording for Account Hierarchy is not supported at the moment.

Resolution

This is a new requirement and will be included in the coming relases.
