2525129 - Automatic batch determination does not work for sales order

Symptom

  • In VA01/VA02 transactions, you notice that the batches are not automatically assigned. This happens even if the sales order item was activated for batch determination in customizing. The following message is raised: 

"It was not possible to determine a batch" (Message no. V1565).
