2525178 - Targeted CR List for SDK 15.7 SP139 for SAP ASE

Symptom

The purpose of this KBA is to help SAP customers obtain a general idea of potential fixed situations in future Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) EBF/SP or PL releases. Please be sure to read the Disclaimer below.

ADO.NET Data Provider  804145 ADO.NET: Error messages such as "Incorrect syntax near <variable>", may be reported when executing the MDA scripts. See KBA 2403591.
ADO.NET Data Provider  802647 ADO.NET: Under heavy load, the ADO.NET driver may crash with the error, "System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array". See KBA 2399082.
C  802742 CPRE: esqlc application connecting to ASE HADR does not failover to secondary when primary is down. See KBA 2376820.
Directory Services  805979 LDAP: LDAP driver updated to use OpenSSL version 1.0.2k.
JDBC Driver  805566 jConnect: sp_jdbc_stored_procedures does not display stored procedures granted execute permissions through roles. See KBA 2428312.
JDBC Driver  804604 jConnect: For connection property HOMOGENEOUS_BATCH = TRUE and SYNAMIC_PREPARE = TRUE, on trying to set NULL value to first row in batch with database column data type "TEXT" and client specifies "VARCHAR" type using api: preparedStatement.setNull(*, java.sql.Types.VARCHAR), server crashes and incorrect data is set for subsequent columns. JDBC Driver  802126 jConnect : Performance impact is seen for CallableStatement when used with batch and having maximum parameter count of 32K.
ODBC Driver  806213 ODBC Driver: A client application may fail to log in to an SAP ASE server using the Extended Encrypted Password protocol. See KBA 2435051.
ODBC Driver  803305 ODBC Driver: When executing a query with ORDER BY position greater than 255, the query fails with the error, "Bad TDS response stream received from server. Unexpected token type received". See KBA 2381198.
Security Services  809769 SRVLIB/CTLIB: Libraries updated to use OpenSSL 1.0.2k
ctlib  804355 CS-Lib: Multiplication of MONEY by MONEY incorrectly returned result of 0 (zero) for some values. See KBA 2407305.
sampletests  803474 SAMPLE: Building Client-Library sample and Server-Library sample fails on SUSE Linux using gcc version 4.8.5.
srvlib  804713 CTLIB: On Windows, a race condition during force close can result in SSL connections being unresponsive.
srvlib  801931 SRVLIB/CTLIB: To remove weaker 3DES and RC4 cipher suites from the list of default ciphers. SRVLIB applications that need to support 3DES can use a new environment variable SYBOCS_SRVLIB_CIPHER to set the list of comma-delimited ciphers at runtime. CTLIB applications can use the runtime configuration file to set the list of ciphers
sypydb  808097 PYTHON : The message, "Fatal Python error: deallocating None", may be raised when many calls to getlobdata are executed. See KBA 2472795.
sypydb  802682 PYTHON: The python module may raise a ProgrammingError when using readinto() method on LOB object in case the TEXT/IMAGE column contains NULL. See KBA 2399106.
