2525249 - 1H 2026 Enhancement: Support for [[START_DATE]] and [[END_DATE]] Tags in Time Sheet Workflow Notifications

Symptom

The [[START_DATE]] and [[END_DATE]] tags are currently displayed as blank in time sheet workflow notifications. Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Reproducing the Issue

When a workflow notification is received for a Time Sheet approval, the [[START_DATE]] and [[END_DATE]] tags are showing blank.

Cause

The [[START_DATE]] and [[END_DATE]] tags are not currently supported for a Time sheet workflow notification.

Resolution

As of the 1H 2026 release, support for custom email templates based on Document Generation is planned for time sheet workflow notifications. Please follow this KBA for any updates.
