Symptom

Using a transaction in the WEBGUI, a "status bar" message or a "popup window" with the following information is displayed: "Maximum number of SAP GUI sessions reached" or "Unable to create a new window".

Environment

Any WEBGUI/ITS environment where a transaction launches an additional session.
