2526021 - Unable to Add Employees and Managers to Org Units

You want to add Employees and Managers to Org Units in your Organizational Structure, but you receive "No records found" when you click in the value help to select them.

• SAP Cloud for Customer.

In HTML5 / Fiori

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. In the General Settings, click on Org Structures.
3. Open the Org Unit XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the Org Unit).
4. Navigate to the Employees tab.
5. Click on the Add button, to add Employees or a Manager.
6. Click on the value help to search for an employee/manager.
7. See the message "No records found".

In Silverlight

1. Go to the Organizational Management work center.
2. Click on the Org Structures view.
3. Open the Org Unit XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the Org Unit).
4. Navigate to the Employees tab.
5. Click on the Add button to add Employees or a Manager.
6. Click on the value help to search for an employee/manager.
7. See the message "No records found".

The message occurs because your Business User does not have access to the People work center.

This is the system's expected behavior.

To avoid this situation, you can enable access to the work center People on your Business User:

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Click on the Business Users view.
3. Search for the specific business user.
4. Click on Edit Access Rights.
5. Navigate to the Work Center and View Assignment.
6. Enable the work center People.
7. Click on Save.
