Symptom

For performance reasons, it may be desirable to load SAPUI5 files from a Content Delivery Network (CDN). This can be beneficial in situations including:

  • Business users are globally distributed, and located far away from the NetWeaver Gateway
  • External network users of Fiori Launchpad, where it is desirable to reduce inbound or VPN traffic
