Symptom
- Skill libraries are controlled through the JPB Global Schema (SuccessStore).
- There is support for the Import Skill Library via the SuccessStore, on the “Manage Job Profile Content” page
- Competency libraries are controlled through the Media Server (SuccessStore)
- Support for the Import Competency Library isn't available from the SuccessStore via “Manage Job Profile Content” page
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder
Resolution
Skill libraries are available in the SuccessStore and can be referenced in the Job Profile Builder system through “Add Families From SuccessStore” or “Add Roles From SuccessStore” (admin links in JPB page).
After adding, the Global Schema Skill Libraries will be displayed as below:
For Competency Library
- From the Center of Capabilities page, unlike the skill library, there is no support for importing the Competency Library from the Media Server/Successstore
- Nevertheless, competencies may be created in the Center of Capabilities page. If the input value in ‘Library’ field does not exist in the system, then the CofC will create a library for the given input value
Note: To add the Success Factors competency library 2.1, proceed with the steps above and rename library "SuccessFactors 2.1 Competency Library". Then go to Manage job profile content Import/Export and import the csv file attached at the bottom of this KBA
