2527082 - Navigation Link on Object ID of Custom BO not Working

Symptom

Navigation to Object ID, of Custom BO, from the Workflow Log screen is not working

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administration Workcenter
  2. Then to Workflow View
  3. Click on the gear icon/cog wheel to see the workflow logs  
  4. In Workflow logs, you can find logs for the desciption ABC,(where, ABC, is any created Workflow Rule)
  5. Click on the Object ID
  6. It is seen that the Navigation to the Object ID is not happening

The above workflow rule is created on a Custome BO

 

Cause

Sometimes, there will be no floor plan existing, which should show information of a particular object instance. Since no target floor plan exists, navigation link will not work. Logically it is like, there should be some screen for link navigation which has information about object instance .

Resolution

Please do maintain the necessary floor plan for the navigation link to work on Custom BO
