2527099 - DBCC CHECKSTORAGE reports error 100015 "page loop error" where none exists - SAP ASE

Symptom

DBCC CHECKSTORAGE repeatedly returns hard 100015 page loop errors which are not covered by SAP CR 744256 (see KBA 1941849). For example:

DBCC CHECKSTORAGE for database '<name>' sequence 122 completed .....
