2527118 - How to connect to BI platform using SAP authentication in Analysis Office

This document explains how to login to BI platform using SAP authentication via Analysis for Office tool.

To use a specific SAP system and client for the authentication to BI platform when using the authentication SAP, prefix the user name with "SID~CLT/" (for example: "ABC~001/MYUSER") as shown in the screenshot below:

In the example above, the user is connecting using the credentials for BW system ABC, client 001, where "MYUSER" is the user ID.

Note:The field "System" is related to CMS system, and not to SAP system. Entering SAP system in this field might result in error message "Exception 'invalid CMS' when trying to logon to BOE server".
