2527987 - Custom Syntax Tags / Custom Email Notification Token Sets for notification templates

Is it possible to add custom Syntax tags / custom Email Notification Token Sets to notification templates?

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration >
2. Navigate to System Administration > Manage Email > Email Notification Templates >
3. Search the required template > open it in the edit mode > Message tab >
4. Clicking on the 'Tokens' hyperlink, or clicking on 'Launch Editor' and looking at the Tokens list, note that there is no option to add new Tokens.

Only the standard Tokens are available. Currently, the LMS application does not allow Email Notification Token Sets to be added nor modified.

• Syntax Tags are hard coded and custom tags cannot be added;
• Syntax Tag availability in a Notification Template is not modifiable;
• It's not possible to use a Syntax Tag / Email Notification Token Set that's available in one template with another template if it is not already designated to be used in that Notification Template;
• If you'd like to see this functionality changed in a future release, please create an Enhancement Request as per 2090228

To see a list of available Syntax Tags / Email Notification Token Sets:

1. Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration >
2. Navigate to System Administration > Manage Email > Email Notification Token Sets >
3. Search for the template you wish to check which tags are available and open it >
4. Click on the 'Tokens' tab, and a list of the tags available for that template will be shown.
