2528425 - System is not Working as per FIFO rule,Wrong Identified Stock Selected in Goods Issue Screen

You are posting goods issue against the delivery proposal XYZ and you notice that the system is proposing identified stock ID AA but what you are expecting is BB.

*XYZ refers to the Delivery Proposal Id, *AA & *BB refer to the Identified Stock Id

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Choose the Delivery Proposals View.
3. Select the Delivery Proposal XYZ and click the Post Goods Issue button.

As per FIFO rule system sorts the oldest stock according to the identified stock expiration date, identified stock production date and last putaway date. The exact order in which the sorting happens once the system retrieves all available inventories for the relevant product is as follows.

• The stock is sorted based on putaway date first, this helps with getting FIFO information for all the stocks which does not have iStock. 
• Stock with iStock is sorted additionally based on Expiration Date and/or Production Date.  

Note: If all the identified stocks have the same dates for all the above parameters, then one of them is picked in random order.

This is the standard system behavior and system behaves as designed.
