2528837 - Slow Syndication performance - long running SetQuery process

Symptom

  1. Openning a Syndication map in MDM Syndicator Gui takes long time
  2. Automatic Syndication with MDM Syndication Server takes long time
  3. MDM is freezing or slower than usually

As a troubleshooting step if you go to the MDM Console -> MDM Server -> Activities, you can see long running process called SetQuery started by Syndication server or Syndicator Gui. You can see the same if you run the MDM Clix Monitoring tool as per the Note 1358503.

MDS Clix Monitor report looks similar to the following:
