2529240 - Admin not able to add new documents

Symptom

When admin tries to add new document on LMS, the Add New link is missing.

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System - Core

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Learning Administration
  2. Navigate to Content > Documents
  3. You will notice that there is no Add New link

Cause

There is a missing workflow on the admin's role.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to System Admin > Security > Role Management
  2. Look for the admin's role and edit it
  3. Click Workflows tab
  4. Click ‘add one or more from list’ link
  5. Click 'Expand All' link
  6. Under Learning Management group, check if the ‘Add document’ workflow is missing.
  7. Click Add Document's checkbox to add the workflow
  8. Click Add button.
