Cause
Potential causes for each error:
- Field Label in column -1 does not match the required field name
- You are placing an encrypt file in the SFTP, however the system is not configured yet to read encrypt files.
- Field Label in column -2 does not match the required field name
- It means the file has no user data.
- Field Label in column -3 does not match the required field name
- It means this instance has enabled pre-day1 feature and the user record has no onboarding ID.
Resolution
To fix these issues, the below checks must be performed:
- Placing an encrypt file in the SFTP, however the system is not configured yet to read encrypt files.
- Removing the encryption from the file. If you are trying to import the file via Schedule Jobs from Provisioning, you should remove the .pgp extension from the file name as well.
- Configure your environment to read encrypt files, please, follow the KBA 2296971 - Generating and Importing PGP Keys - SAP for Me
- The file has no user data. For this error, please input user's information.
Ensure the file being imported follows the template. For that, make sure to download the template as explained at 2751107 - How to download the template for Employee Import? - This instance has enabled pre-day1 feature and the user record has no onboarding id
- Add a header column "ONBOARDING_ID" in the csv file
- Ensure this header is the last column.
- Tick "Re-activate purged user" option
- Re-try the import
NOTE: Whenever you see receive any error similar to the above, always ensure the import file follows the template from Employee Import page in Admin Center.
