2529976 - Unable to update the datastore configuration after migrating the job server - SAP Data Services 4.2

Symptom

  • The job server is migrated from another machine (an old machine which is no longer running).
  • When attempting to update datastore configuration in Data Services Management Console, the following error appears:
    [No JobServer in the Server Group: DUMMY available to schedule the job]
  • Get the following error when editing datastore in Data Services Designer:
    Error: The job server 'inet:<old-machine>:3500' is not responding.  The network connection may be down or the job server may not be running.  RWSocketError: in RWSocket::connect: CONNREFUSED (BODI-1241018)(BODI-1111344)
