2529980 - How to configure the site URL of Test or Sales Demo instance - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

Customers reporting that their new RMK test instance is down or not accessible or need confirmation on how to update the test or demo URL. This may be also needed when it is not possible to preview sites using CSB.

Note: The actions mentioned below must be performed by the Implementation Partner.

Environment

SAP Successfactors Recruiting Marketing

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to command center.
  2. Click on Site Tab > Site Set up
  3. Click on Info tab then click on the GO button to access the Site URL.
  4. Site is not accessible.

Cause

Site URL has not been configured properly by the partner of the customer.

Resolution

  1. Customer needs to contact their partner to configure the correct Site URL of the new test instance.
  2. Correct Site URL configuration.

Note:  Sales demo (DC 40) for RMK instances is owned by SAP, and the site URL should follow the format foldername.sapsfdemojobs.com.

Note: SSL certificates for all stage servers are managed by sap so there is no requirement to setup a certificate.

Note that setting up the URL is not enough, CSB must be enabled under Site Settings. See KBA 2845829
