2530122 - Forecast Not Available on MRP Screen

You have run the forecast demanding for a product, and there is unconsumed forecast for previous period. However, when you open Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for that product, you are not able to see those forecasts.

1. Go to Supply Planning Work Center.
2. Go to Products View.
3. Enter Product XXX (XXX represents product ID).
4. Click Open, and you can see that no forecast shown in the screen.

You maintained "ATOS_CPC - All demand Consumes Current Forecast" as demand management procedure for the product XXX. Thus, the system will only consider the forecast in current period, and if there is any unconsumed forecast before current period, it will not be shown in MRP. For example, there are unconsumed forecast in week 29 for a product, and you run the MRP in week 30. There won't be any forecast shown in MRP.

It is a standard system behavior if you choose "ATOS_CPC - All demand Consumes Current Forecast" as demand management procedure for the product. If you want demand to consume the preceding forecast, then you have to change the demand management procedure by following steps:

1. Go to Product Data Work center.
2. Go to Materials View.
3. Enter Product XXX and select it.
4. Click Edit.
5. Click View All.
6. Go to Planning Tab.
7. Select ATOS_MPC - All demand consumes preceding forecasts as Demand Management Procedure.
