2530661 - Position change via Job History does not respect FTE

Symptom

When you select one employee and go to his/her job history you are able to change this employee to a position that is already occupied on the selected date.

This would not be possible since the FTE is already full and the position is set to not mass position.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Please note the the position has FTE1, Mass Position NO:

  1. In the below screenshots you have both employees I’ll use for this test (Klaus Frommherz and Danielle Hesses) job history:

  1. See bellow the position orgchart image before the changes:

  1. See that when you select the position, the system throws the error saying that the position already has a person in this position:

  1. See that the system has allowed me to save the change even with the position already occupied:

Cause

Expected Behavior

Resolution

Changes in the job info history will not execute position specific checks on save so the user will only get the warning on change of the field as shown above.
Job History is a kind of admin tool therefore we do not check this validations again on save and allow the save.

This same validation do happens in the following scenarios:

  1. Use Take Action to change the position;
  2. Use the edit in MSS page (click on the pencil);
