2530845 - Tile in sm_workcenter cannot be opened due to "HTTP request failed" or "Unable to load groups"

Symptom

Symptom 1:

You want to open some tiles in transaction SM_WORKCENTER, but there are no tiles displayed or missing some tiles displayed.

Symptom 2:

You want to open some tiles in transaction SM_WORKCENTER, but got the error "HTTP request failed" as below

If you click on Show Details, you will see the text

"call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available" in the long detailed text.

Or the following error "Failure - Unable to load groups" appears,

Or the following error might appear,

"Backend request for populating config model failed

and the error details as below can be seen

No System Alias found for Service"
