2531280 - GC overhead limit exceeded - Could not open connection

Symptom

  • Datahub works fine when the load is less but stops publishing or responding when the load is increased.
  • Datahun logs shows the following exception:
    [BaseExceptionMapper] An exception intercepted
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded (max heap: 434 MB)
    ...........
    org.springframework.messaging.MessageHandlingException: nested exception is javax.persistence.QueryTimeoutException: Could not open connection
