2531291 - SQL30082N with reason code 15 after Db2 upgrade on AIX\Linux

Symptom

  • After a Db2 upgrade or fixpack update on any of the DB versions listed under the "Environment" tab the following error is returned.
  • SQL30082N  Security processing failed with reason "15" ("PROCESSING FAILURE"). 
  • DbSlConnect to '<SID>' as 'sap<SID>' failed
  • Short dump with database connection 
    DBSQL_CONNECTION_NO_METADATA
    ERROR in DB6Connect[/bas/754_REL/src/dbs/db6/dbdb6.c, 2091] CON = 1 CACHEID = -1 (BEGIN) [/bas/754_REL/src/dbs/db6/dbsldb6trc.c#1677]
    SQL30082N  Security processing failed with reason "15" ("PROCESSING FAILURE").
