2532063 - LMS - Modify Password Instructions on External Sites

How can I modify the Password Instructions on the External Sites?

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System

1. As a user, access an External Site

2. Register as a User

3. See the instruction for Password (default instruction is similar to the verbiage below)

The User's password has to be compliant with the following rules:
The length of the password must be between 1 and 40 characters.

You can modify the labels associated to them.

1. Navigate to References >> Geography >> Labels

2. For the verbiage "The User's password has to be compliant with the following rules:", you can edit the label called "instruction.StudentInformation.PasswordPolicy"

3. For the verbiage "The length of the password must be between 1 and 40 characters.", you can edit the label called "instruction.passwordvalidation.PasswordLengthRuleHint"

 

**NOTE: These labels are used globally and these are the areas in LMS where this is seen:

1. (Both labels) When a user registers/creates a new account from the native login page.

2. (Both labels) When a user registers/creates a new account from a Site.

3. (Both labels) When logged in as an admin, under System Admin >> User Passwords

4. (Label instruction.passwordvalidation.PasswordLengthRuleHint) When logged in as an admin, under System Admin >> Admin Management >> Edit an Admin and you will see this on the "New Password"/"Verify Password" section
